Myth Busting – video recording isn't complicated or technical

There’s a common preconception that recording video in the classroom is a stressful and technical process with trailing cables and large cameras providing a distraction to the stteaching learning video recording systemudents.

Actually, nothing could be further from the truth.

With Lessonbox all the “kit” is kept in one case. Simply flip open the box and you’re ready to go.

All you need to get started is a flat surface and a power socket for the integrated laptop.

Wheel your Lessonbox case into the room you want to use.. Lessonbox’s simple to use wireless cameras and microphones have batteries that last all day.  Simply place the cameras wherever you think they will achieve the best outlook of the class room – they come with secure easy to use clips which can attach to almost anything.

Top Teacher Tip: Don’t worry too much about the front of the classroom – to some extent it doesn’t matter so much what the teacher is doing; focus on the children. If you know that the lesson will involve the whiteboard then position the camera to ensure that you’re documenting what’s there.

Place the camera (using the clips as needed) at the back and the front of the room – or either sides and see the whole room from two angles to really capture what’s going o.

Additional microphones help record more audio not only from the teacher but from different areas of the classroom to ensure that pupil response is covered too. Using the different desk microphones enables you to focus on what’s happening in various plenary groups.

All video and audio gets recorded simultaneously to the hidden laptop in the case which also houses the receivers for the wireless cameras and microphone.

Just type in your login on the laptop to check the camera angles and then press record.  No hassle required.
